Welcome to MISSCHIROPRACTIC MEDICAL SPA AND WELLNESS PLLC dba MC Wellness & Spa! Our mission is to deliver exceptional medical aesthetic and wellness services while partnering with you to help you look and feel your best. The following policies are not intended as restrictions, but as essential guidelines that allow us to provide the highest standard of care, maintain scheduling availability, and offer competitive pricing.

Because appointments require dedicated provider time, treatment rooms, and specialized equipment, certain financial and cancellation policies are necessary. We kindly ask that you review the information below carefully prior to scheduling your appointment.

Disclosure

Medical Director: Edward Pearson, MD

Medical services are provided by or under the supervision of a licensed Florida physician in accordance with Florida law. Certain services may be performed by licensed medical professionals acting under physician supervision, as permitted by Florida law.

Pursuant to Florida law, the patient or any individual responsible for payment has the right to refuse to pay, cancel payment, or receive reimbursement for any service, examination, or treatment that is performed as a result of and within 72 hours of responding to an advertisement for a free, discounted, or reduced-fee service, examination, or treatment.

Complimentary consultations do not include diagnosis or treatment unless otherwise specified and do not establish a physician-patient relationship.

Promotional discounts are valid for new or first-time service customers only, may not be combined with other offers, services, or discounts, and are subject to additional terms and availability.

Financial Policies

To ensure outstanding service and fair pricing, MC Wellness & Spa adheres to the following financial policies.

Appointment Scheduling & Credit Card Requirement

A valid major credit card is required to schedule and hold all appointments, including consultations and treatments. Scheduling an appointment constitutes acceptance of these financial policies.

By providing a credit card, you authorize MC Wellness & Spa to charge applicable cancellation or no-show fees in accordance with these policies. Cancellation fees are not billable to insurance.

Arrival Time

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and any necessary paperwork. As a medical practice, we must honor scheduled appointment times to provide prompt, professional care to all clients.

Appointment Confirmation

Appointments are confirmed at the time of booking. As a courtesy, appointment reminders may be sent via text and/or email. It is the client’s responsibility to cancel or reschedule if unable to attend.

Cancellations & No-Shows

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $75 cancellation fee
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur a $100 fee

These fees do not cover the full cost of reserved provider time, treatment rooms, and equipment, but are necessary to maintain availability for all clients.

Treatment Preparation & Protocols

If you arrive for your appointment without following required pre-treatment instructions or protocols, the appointment may be deemed a no-show and a $100 fee will apply.

Late Arrivals

We will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals. If accommodation is not possible, the appointment will be considered a no-show and the applicable fee will apply.

Rescheduling

We respectfully request 48 hours’ notice to reschedule appointments. A 24-hour grace period is extended before cancellation fees apply.

Payment & Accepted Forms

Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Personal checks are not accepted.

Outstanding Balances

All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to receiving additional services.

Refunds, Services & Gift Cards

• All sales for services, products, packages, and gift cards are final
• Paid services expire 12 months from the date of purchase
• Service packages are considered expired if not fully redeemed within 12 months
• Services and packages are non-transferable and non-refundable

Gift Credits

Gift credits issued with the purchase of a procedure:

• May only be used toward specified services
• Have no cash value
• Are non-transferable
• Expire 6 months from the date issued

Emergencies

Documented emergencies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If we are closed, please leave a voicemail. Messages are date- and time-stamped and will be returned as soon as possible, in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

SMS/Text Messaging Program

MC Wellness & Spa may send text messages (SMS) to clients who have provided their mobile phone number and opted in to receive communications. These messages may include:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Follow-up care instructions
• Promotional offers, service updates, and special announcements

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on your appointments and enrollment in promotional programs.

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS communications from MC Wellness & Spa.

Privacy

All SMS communications are governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. MC Wellness & Spa does not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer

MC Wellness & Spa uses third-party carriers and service providers to deliver SMS messages. These carriers are not responsible for any errors, delays, or failures in message delivery, including but not limited to missed, delayed, or garbled messages. By participating in our SMS program, you acknowledge that MC Wellness & Spa is solely responsible for the content, timing, and management of messages sent, and carriers have no liability for any communications sent or received through this service.

Additional Policies

General

• Prices, services, and policies are subject to change without notice
• Scheduling an appointment constitutes acceptance of all policies
• All sales are final

Walk-Ins

Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Children

For safety reasons and out of courtesy to other clients, children are not permitted in the office. Minors receiving services must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Pets

Pets are not permitted, with the exception of documented service animals.

Referrals

Referrals are the highest compliment. For each referred guest who purchases a treatment, you may receive a $50 service credit, subject to terms and availability. Service credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be combined with other promotions.

Age Requirement

Clients must be 18 years or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please inform us if you are pregnant or may be pregnant when scheduling and attending your appointment.

Medical Disclaimer

Services offered at MC Wellness & Spa are elective and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

IV therapy, injectable treatments, and medical weight loss services require medical clearance and may not be appropriate for all individuals.

Results vary, and no outcome is guaranteed. All services are performed in compliance with Florida scope-of-practice laws and regulations.

All client information is handled in accordance with HIPAA privacy standards.

Before and After Photos Disclaimer

Before-and-after photos represent actual patients; individual results may vary. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and opinions. Information on this website is provided for general educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. Governing Law

These policies are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
